After Dinner(Dietrich) « Thread Started on Aug 15, 2008, 9:28am »
Bianca walked into the gardens , all she wanted to do right now was let her nerves unwind and not think about what had just happened in the Great Hall." stupid bloody girls , cant understand that they are both my friends" she thought to herself, sitting down on one of the benches.

The Sixth year Slytherin followed the young Gryffindor out of the Great Hall and let out a sigh of relief. Getting out of there so easily was a blessing in disguise as far as Dietrich could tell. If any one of those people had called Dietrich out about helping the young girl he would have been in trouble. He would probably have stayed on the girl's side, but to announce it to the whole Great Hall was very low on his priority list. So long as he didn't have to announce it the people who mattered would have their correct suspicions and the people who didn't matter...well what they thought didn't matter.
The girl made a b-line out of the castle and toward the gardens and Dietrich followed just a few steps behind rolling his eyes. What is it with girls and gardens? he thought as he recalled his run in with Anae. Perhaps it was all the pretty flowers that brought them here when they wanted to escape. The Founders knew it wasn't much good for hiding, a small room or a place closer to the forest would be better for isolation. Heck, the gardens were probably the last place Dietrich would think to go to get away, but who was he to pretend he knew the inner workings of the female mind.
When Bianca sat down on a bench Dietrich slowed down to give her a moment, purposely stepping loudly to make sure the girl remembered his presence. A few moments later he kneeled down in front of the girl and put on his best concerned face. "Are you gonna be alright?" he asked her quietly.

" I think so , it was just way to much. They probably hate me , but right now , Im not exactly caring. Thank you though , for getting me out of there , for following me here , you didnt have to , but you did and Im happy you did....Dietrich." Bianca said locking her eyes with his , and giving him a sweet smile.

An amused smile graced the older boy's lips at the mention of his name. He was fairly certain that she might have just picked up his name in that little spat in the Great Hall, after all Sasha had called him by name at least once. Something about the coy way that she said it however made him think otherwise, and that was definitely a good thing. It meant that not revealing his name had added something to their first meeting and the fact that she had gone out of her way to uncover his identity meant he left enough of an impression on the young Gryffindor that he had at least remained in her thoughts. Yes, so far everything was going according to plan, now just to add the newest piece and he had a feeling she'd be even more wrapped around his finger, so to speak.
"Ah, I'm glad to hear that you figured out my name." He bowed his head slightly to her, "Dietrich Noble at your service, and it was my pleasure to help you escape that little mess." Finding the girl's eyes once again he decided that now might be a good time to find out just what her relationship with Sasha and that other Gryffindor were, after all they were potential liabilities. "So, if you don't mind my asking, what exactly happened back there?"

Bianca sighed. What had happened? It was really just one big blur of emotions to the 3rd year."Well I think it was all the result of me sitting with Sasha at your table. Cassi was obviously displeased by it" Bianca answered the elder boy."Honestly , its really just one large blur to me , Im just happy I escaped before it came to blows or hexes , knowing Sasha and Cassi , it just may have."Bianca sighed again, it had been quite awful , and right now she really just didnt want to talk or even think about what had happened at dinner."There will be enough talk about it tomorrow anyway" She thought to herself."Would you mind if we , perhaps changed to a different subject ? I really just dont want to even think about what happened in there." she said to Dietrich.

((OOC: much, thank you ^^))
"Honestly, its really just one large blur to me, Im just happy I escaped before it came to blows or hexes, knowing Sasha and Cassi, it just may have."
Had Dietrich not been in the company of the girl a wide grin would have spread across the Sixth Years face. What she had just said meant that there was some discord among her close friends, and that was good for Dietrich. He suspected that he'd have to deal with Sasha since she was in his own house and she didn't look to happy about his interfierence with their little spat, but that was nothing to be concerned about. He was confident that he could whip something up that would, at the very least, keep Sasha from doing anything that would ruin his current plans. On the outside however his face remained somber, and he took one of her hands into his in what he hoped was a calming gesture.
"Would you mind if we , perhaps changed to a different subject ? I really just dont want to even think about what happened in there."
Dietrich gave her a little smile and a slight shake of his head, "Of course I don't mind. I wouldn't want to make you uncomfortable." With a little smile the slytherin boy stood up kissed the girl lightly on the forehead. Now seemed like a good time to move this a little more forward. He returned to his crouch so that they were eye-level once more and changed his expression into a much happier one. "So," he started with a little more pep in his voice, "I was wondering if you had a date to the Halloween ball yet?" That had to have come out of the blue to the younger girl, and as Dietrich thought about what he had just said he realized that probably wasn't any less comfortable a subject, though he did suspect this would be a little more positive subject to be awkward about.

" Uhm , no , not yet , after tonight I dont think I can expect to be asked though. And I will not ask a boy to a ball. If there is one thing that my Mother taught me , its that a young lady should be asked , and not do the asking herself."Bianca said , letting out a small giggle."What about you , do you have a date? Or anyone in mind perhaps?" she asked coyly.

As the girl rambled Dietrich just smiled at her. Under normal circumstances she would probably have been right. This school was underpopulated in the male category as is, and with that last outburst she would probably have earned the title of crazy or drama queen among the guys, at least for a time. But these weren't normal circumstances at all. The fact that Dietrich was even considering going to a Ball of all things made that point blatantly obvious. Well, this would be an interesting dance Dietrich suspected.
"What about you , do you have a date? Or anyone in mind perhaps?"
A coy smile appeared on Dietrich's lip. "I've got an idea," he started, "but I haven't been able to decide if she'll agree to go with me." He looked the girl straight in the eyes. "So I figured I should just ask her. So," he paused for a moment to give the illusion that this was awkward and difficult for him. "Would you like to go with me to the Halloween Ball Bianca?"

Bianca smiled softly"Yes , I would love to go to the ball with you."She was quite happy . Her horrible night had just been made ten times better. She gently sqeezed his hand and smiled again at the boy." You do realize that you have just made my night dont you?" Bianca asked and then giggled softly.

Dietrich hadn't realized that he had been holding his breath until he heard the girl answer yes. He suspected that she would say yes and really had no intention of accepting any other answer. Still it seemed that he was a little nervous about the whole thing. If she said no to him now the likely-hood of this odd little relationship deepening simply wasn't good. Who would have guessed he cared so much about the fate of this small Gryffindor.
"You do realize that you have just made my night dont you?"
Well that wasn't that hard to do, Dietrich thought to himself. On the outside however he gave the giggling girl a relieved smile. That was the face he assumed he was supposed to take once she had agreed, or at least he hoped so. "No," he said, "I believe it is you who have made my night." Where these words came from Dietrich had no idea. Its not like he'd ever done this kind of thing before, but it seemed that he should say something sweet-ish and it was in his personality to be noble, though that was usually reserved for those who actually deserved his kind words. Oh well, he was just thankful that there was no one else around to see him put on this stupid act.

" Thats really sweet." Bianca said giving he boy a soft smile. she slowly leaned downed and gently kissed his lips. It wasnt like her to initiate a kiss , but right now , she wanted to kiss the elder boy and made the move.
